In winter, large-scale chicken farms face a problem, which is to solve the problem of dampness in the chicken coop. As we all know, long-term humidity in a chicken house will not only increase the incidence of chicken flocks, but also affect production performance. Therefore, in the face of this situation, we should solve this problem from two aspects: ventilation and dehumidification.
1. Ventilation
This is something that many people do not do in winter. Dehumidification** is an effective way to remove moisture in time. However, you should also pay attention to heat preservation during ventilation. If you only ventilate but do not pay attention to heat preservation, chicken A sharp drop in house temperature will cause the flocks to become unsuitable. The ventilation time should be at noon when the temperature is higher, and the ventilation should be slightly less at the beginning to allow the chickens to adapt slowly. If all the vents are opened at the beginning, the huge temperature difference will cause the chickens to produce a stress response.
2. Dehumidification equipment
If it is a conditional chicken house, you can install some equipment that can dehumidify. This is better than simple ventilation. For example, you can install some air conditioners. This method is very effective, but the initial capital investment will be relatively high. Farmers can make some warming equipment according to their actual situation, plus moderate ventilation, which can also play a role in dehumidification, and the initial investment is relatively small.
3. Ground dehumidification
When the air humidity is high, the floor of the chicken house is also very humid. When the chickens are resting, be sure to place a layer of straw or set up a layer of wooden boards to prevent the chickens from directly touching the ground. The growth of the group is also healthier. In addition, you can also sprinkle some quicklime on the aisle, which is also very good for dehumidification, and you can also sprinkle some dry fine soil to dehumidify. You can hang some hygrometers in the chicken house, and hang them in several places, so that the humidity of the chicken house can be monitored in real time, and dehumidification can be done in time when it is too high.
4. Film on the roof
Although the temperature in winter is very low, the temperature inside the greenhouse will be relatively high. In this way, some water droplets will form on the roof. These are common knowledge in life, and everyone must also know that when the water droplets gather large, it will slowly The dripping caused the ground to be wet. Therefore, a layer of film can be placed on the roof of the shed so that when the water drops drop, they can be drained to other places without dripping onto the chicken body and the ground.
