The brooding room design is divided into flat type and cage type.
1. Flat brooding room
Each brooding room is 20 meters long, 5 meters wide and 2.5-2.8 meters high, and is divided into 4 rooms with fiberboard or bricks. There is a corridor on one side of each room, and thermal insulation boards are installed on the top. The foot of the wall is about 30 cm from the ground, and there are windows on the top of the wall for ventilation. Set up a thermal umbrella in each room, or use 8 infrared light bulbs as a heat source. Floor mats with chaff for bedding. Each house can brood 400-500 chicks, and each building can breed 1600-2000 chicks.
2. Cage type brooding room
The brooding room is to set up a series of cages in the room to facilitate management, increase the density of brooding, reduce fecal contact and the occurrence of gastrointestinal diseases. The cage is 100 cm long, 50 cm wide and 45 cm high, with a bottom mesh of 3 × 1 cm or 1 × 1 cm, and a side mesh of 3 × 1 cm or 2 × 1 cm. Each cage can brood 40 chicks.
