waterline drinking water equipment is usually used. Waterline drinking water equipment can take into account the functions of immunization and drug delivery, which reduces labor costs and is more convenient and quick. However, the drinking water equipment on the water line is prone to dirt and blockage, and if it is not dealt with in time, it will also affect the chicken flock. 1. Water quality control
The depth of the drinking water well in the chicken farm must be more than 100 meters, and it cannot be surface water (the bacteria in the surface well water will seriously exceed the standard, especially if the drinking water utensils are not cleaned in time, the number of terminal pathogenic bacteria is even more numerous).
2. Choose a cleaning and disinfecting agent
Choose a cleaning and disinfecting agent that can effectively dissolve biofilm, mucus, and scaling in the waterline. According to the disinfection effect and cost of different disinfectants, sodium dichloroisocyanurate powder (30% available chlorine) and 6.5% chlorine dioxide were selected for waterline immersion disinfection.
3. Soak and clean the water line and pipeline process during the empty house period
a. Open the water line and completely drain the water in the line;
b. Add sodium dichloroisocyanurate powder (30% available chlorine) (125g to 200kg water) into each water tank, add clean water and mix well, and close the valve of the direct water line at the same time;
c. Open the valves at both ends of the water line, release the clean water, open the valve connecting the water line to the water tank, press the last nipple at both ends of the water line to smell the smell of chlorine, close the valve, soak and disinfect for 4 hours, this will kill residual bacteria , and further remove residual biofilm;
d. After soaking and disinfection, close the water outlet valve of the water tank, open the drain valve of the water tank, drain the remaining disinfection solution, open the water inlet valve of the water tank, rinse the water tank, and close the straight-through pressure regulating valve at the same time, open the straight-through Waterline valve (directly pass the waterline without the pressure regulating valve), then open the valves at both ends of the waterline, release the disinfection solution, and then rinse the waterline with 1 to 2 sponge balls;
e. The pipeline from the water well to the chicken house should also be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. It is best not to wash the pipeline inside the house with water from the pipeline outside the house. The water pipe should be connected to the intubation tube of the dosing device and recoiled. Pipeline outside the house;
f. The flushing water should contain disinfectant, the concentration of which is the same as that in the drinking water during the feeding period of chickens, and sodium dichloroisocyanurate powder is used for disinfection of drinking water (the effective concentration of residual chlorine is 3-5ppm in disinfectant water).
4. Operation process of soaking and cleaning water line during the feeding period (operation at night)
a. Check whether the sewage connection pipes at both ends of the water line are normal and are connected to the water line smoothly;
b. Add sodium dichloroisocyanurate powder (30% available chlorine) (125g to 200kg water) or 6.5% chlorine dioxide (500g to 200kg water) into each water tank, add clean water and mix well, and close the direct water at the same time line valves;
c. Turn off the lights for 30 minutes or adjust the height of the waterline to a height that chickens cannot reach;
d. Open the valves at both ends of the water line, release the clean water, open the valve connecting the water line to the water tank, press the last nipple at both ends of the water line to smell the smell of chlorine, close the valve, soak and disinfect for 30 minutes;
e. Close the outlet valve of the water tank, open the drain valve of the water tank, drain the remaining disinfection solution, open the water inlet valve of the water tank, rinse the water tank, close the straight-through pressure regulating valve at the same time, open the straight-through water line valve (not Pass the pressure regulating valve directly to the water line), then open the valves at both ends of the water line, release the disinfection solution, and then rinse it with 1 to 2 sponge balls;
f. After the water line has been soaked, disinfected and rinsed, the incoming water must be fresh and chlorinated (the concentration of residual chlorine at the end of the water line is 3-5ppm). If checking with a redox potentiometer, it should read at least 650.
5. The operation process of chicken drinking water disinfection during the feeding period
First configure the disinfection solution (sodium dichloroisocyanurate powder or acidifier), and use a doser to add it to the water line, so that the final concentration of sodium dichloroisocyanurate powder (available chlorine is 30%) is 33-40mg/L (water The concentration of residual chlorine at the end of the line is 3-5ppm); the final concentration of an acidifier is 1mL/L. When using other medicines or vaccines, you should stop adding disinfectants to drinking water.
